As the PreMedia Imgage Coordinator, you will be responsible for organization of all incoming new and supplied ecommerce images, trafficking through Premedia processing stages. You wil handle the maintenance of image logs and image uploads in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy. 

 

On the Job You’ll:

 

Traffic and organize new and supplied eCommerce images

  • Copy image folders over from studio folders, multiple times daily.
  • Maintain Image Log using Excel format and established process.
  • Determine where additional image files will be needed and add to list accordingly.
  • Populate log with necessary final image names for features, renders/swatches and standalones.
  • Organize images into folders sorting by ad number, page number, renaming needs & priority.

Process Vendor Supplied Images

  • Crop to final dimensions & resave all as JPGs, discarding all previous formats

Upload Image Files to Servers.

  • Log images to be uploaded.
  • Copy files to Scene7 FTP.
  • Ensure that all files successfully uploaded.
  • Troubleshoot unsuccessful uploads.
  • Move files to long term storage folders.

Create PDF printouts for Vendor Supplied eCommerce Images

  • Create weekly PDF output of submitted vendor supplied images for each area of business.
  • Print & organize output.
  • Rename images according to established process.

As the Email Production Assistant at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. you would be responsible for creating Merchant Marketing Manager allocation worksheets and assignments for storewide promotional emails.

 

On the Job You’ll:

  • Request email job numbers, manage master email calendar and track all email changes as needed
  • Create email turn-in forms for each week of email content that is being turned in
  • Work with Digital Marketing Production Manager to maintain and update email turn-in forms with storewide coupon information
  • Responsible for internal proofing of all emails in DemandTec that feature storewide event and coupon content (this includes legal details and coupon PDF copy)
  • Write initial subject line and pre-header copy during the DemandTec proofing stage for Digital Production Manager to review and adjust as needed
  • Assist as needed in external proofing of all emails

As the Project Specialist at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. you’re responsible for managing the oversight of various projects through the Advertising department. You ensure the successful completion of digital or studio projects within established schedules. In addition, you lead the planning and discover phase of projects start to finish.

 

On the Job You’ll:

  • Coordinate kick-off meetings to identify project objectives and make sure that all appropriate stakeholders and involved on each project.
  • Communicate to project stakeholders the content or specific action items needed for advertising turn-in.
  • Work with internal team members to ensure the delivery of project assets and content meet all specs and requirements for production.
  • Clearly defines project scope and timelines.
  • Work with Production Artists to establish project schedules.
  • Assign tasks and responsibility for projects and track progress against deliverable specifications and deadlines.
  • Work with Project Coordinators to document, organize, and prioritize requests, changes, and other project information throughout the production process.
  • Make sure all changes and project updates are communicated to all necessary stakeholders.

  • Work with appropriate stakeholders to review reshoots and establish thresholds for the approval and communication of reshoots.

Major Campaign Conceptualization and Preplanning

  • Participate in preplanning meetings with Marketing and Merchandising to identify objectives.

Interns work in the Milwaukee corporate offices spending half the time job shadowing Assistant Buyers gaining an understanding of what a career in Merchandising is all about. Assistant Buyers help identify what products our customer wants, how we can partner with vendors to obtain those products, and aid in the creation of the advertising to market them. Interns will also participate in in-store activities combined with tours of the distribution center and photo studio to develop a holistic business perspective that teaches how to make efficient business decisions and create innovative new strategies. As the Director of Treasury at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. you’re responsible for the treasury and cash management functions of the organization including banking relationships, bank account administration, debt compliance, cash flow forecasting and audit response.           

 

On the Job You’ll:

 

Cash Flow Management and Forecasting

  • Direct the effective concentration and disbursement of corporate cash to minimize borrowing requirements and expense while ensuring sufficient funds on hand to meet daily corporate cash needs.
  • Forecast the liquidity needs of the Company to assist the VP & Treasurer with the long and short-term assessment of cash availability and requirements.
  • Supervise the preparation of excess availability, cash flow and other financial reports.
  • Oversee the completion and accuracy of journal entries related to debt, interest and other cash management issues.
  • Budget for the cost and controls the payment of cash management and courier fees.
  • Lead and foster the management of banking relationships related to cash accounts, debt instruments and other financial needs of the Company.

Debt Administration and Monitoring

  • Control the payment of interest, fees and settlements.
  • Monitor compliance under existing debt instruments and prepares or reviews required reporting.
  • Direct the Company’s participation in financial audits and appraisals required by the various debt agreements.
  • Assist the VP & Treasurer with the analysis, development and implementation of any changes to the Company’s capital structure.

Creates and Maintains Treasury Operational Policies and Procedures

  • Direct the design, maintenance and implementation of changes to cash management systems.
  • Oversee compliance with internal controls and policies in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.
  • Coordinate the Department’s response to Sarbanes-Oxley reviews and serves as the Department’s liaison to Corporate and external auditors.
  • Develop and supervise the maintenance of an effective disaster recovery plan for Treasury operations.
  • Lead and manage the development of team members by setting clear objectives, providing ongoing performance feedback and evaluating development potential.

  • Analyzing system storage capacity and recommending improvements to ensure efficiency
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of the physical framework of the database
  • Managing database reorganizations by creating, scheduling, and monitoring all jobs related to the reorganization
  • Developing and testing stored procedures, SSIS packages, triggers, queries, and scripts
  • Ensuring the safety and security of information systems assets and protecting the system from inappropriate access or destruction
  • Maintaining the dictionary/ catalogs including creating, modification, and deletion of all entity types

 

We’ll value your…

  • DB2 LUW experience
  • Expert knowledge of relational databases, logical modeling and data management
  • Ability to script/code using Windows PowerShel, VBScript, Perl, etc.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating and security systems
  • Troubleshooting ability
